2025 IIDAI Workshop

Our 2025 IIDAI UIUC Workshop, held on April 10 at CSL Auditorium, and April 11 at NCSA, brought together IIDAI current and new PIs, IBM researchers, students, and postdocs, for two-days of engaging lightning talks, presentations, technical updates, poster session, and networking opportunities. The workshop showcased current initiatives, highlighted collaborative projects, and explored new project directions for the institute.

146 people registered to the meeting, and this number is three times the number of last year’s registration.

A highlight of the event was the Poster Session, where 33 posters were presented by students, postdocs, and early-career researchers. The session sparked dynamic conversations and offered a valuable platform for emerging scholars to showcase their work to the broader IIDAI community.

The Poster Selection Committee members reviewed all poster submissions, attended the poster session, and then selected three posters to receive the Best Poster Award. We are pleased to announce the winners:

One important upcoming event is the 2025 IIDAI IBM Workshop, which will be held on September 15–16 at the IBM Research Center in Yorktown Heights, NY. More details will be shared soon.
